DSAT Tec Diver Level 1
Learn to make gas switch, extended no-decompression dives using air and enriched air to 40 meters. You will learn the skills and planning necessary for when you move onto full decompression diving during the Tec Deep Diver course. Ideal for those who don’t have the time to complete the full Tec Deep Diver course or still need to meet some of the prerequisites - you can complete an upgrade course at any time to become a Tec Deep Diver.
To take the course you'll need to be 18 years old and a PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver or equivalent.
Tec Deep Diver
The DSAT Tec Deep Diver course takes you past recreational diving and immerses you in the world of technical diving.
After successful completion of the DSAT Tec Deep Diver course you'll be able to conduct gas-switch extended no-decompression dives, decompression dives and accelerated decompression dives using air and enriched air to a depth of 50 metres/165 feet.
You'll also understand the hazards and risks involved in technical diving, as well as how to prepare for and handle reasonable foreseeable technical diving emergencies.
To take the course you'll need to be a:
• PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent
• PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver or equivalent
• PADI Deep Diver or equivalent, or have proof of deep diving experience.
In addition you'll need to be at least 18 years old and have proof of 100 logged dives including 20 Nitrox dives, 25 dives deeper than 18 meters and 15 dives deeper than 30 meters.
